Forever Winter

That MFA was obviously not wasted on you Pauline. Your word pictures are lovely, as usual, but I'm glad we have brief winters here, if any at all!

Molly - I'm a New England girl through and through. I love snow and cold. Having said that, I dislike winter rains and ice. Now that I'm retired I don't have to worry too much about traveling. My pandemic pod consists of my daughter and her family an hour away, to whose house I go each week for two days. When the weather's bad I don't go. My elder daughter, brought up in Northern VT, has an aversion to cold and she lives in FL!

I love the beauty of your words. I don't mind winter, just the ice. The impossible snow drifts.

Today though, is a slice of daring blue sky and sparkles everywhere.

Here, too, WWW - a sublime winter day :)

I haven’t seen you for such a long time. Is it me or is it you? I too have been rather slow in blogging but now I find that it gives me pleasure again.

Congratulations on your degree. If it makes you write poetry like the above it has all been very worthwhile.

Friko - it is not you - I have been absent from these pages for some time. I came back to read about old friends and was delighted to see you are still posting!
