Live

If I have a purpose, it is to live fully—

to listen,

to notice

to honor

to appreciate

to enjoy

to comfort

to embrace

to wonder

to savor

to sing.

I need to do more of that, myself. I've been thinking about this very thing, being back on the east coast. It's funny the muggy air brings it out in me, more than the majestic mountains of Colorado....

You seem to do a good job of living, taking full advantage of what life offers you with seldom a complaint.

Princess - I forget, some days when I'm too busy, to take time to appreciate what I have. This was a reminder.

Thank you, Meggie!

Barbara - I am a happy camper. I just need to remind myself now and then of all I do have that has nothing to do with wealth or worry.

Thank you B. You are an inspiration and though Blogger on a MAC doesn't allow for a lot of creativity, I had fun finding photos that matched my words.

Pauline, what a beautiful assortment of images and ideas. What more can we ask of life - except I would add love to this wonderful list.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog and for your very kind words. I am especially interested in hearing from other educators who share their experiences. I'll be back.

Happy 4th!

Gary - thanks for visiting. All these equal love for me...

It's always interesting to meet a fellow blogger with similar philosophies. I look forward to comparing notes on our next year's students...
