A Day In The Life Of...

The setting moon

the rising sun

the frozen pond

the day begun

a snow filled nest

some wings of white

the sinking sun

and so, goodnight.

  10. Oh, and too late for the green, which I don't even like---it's kind of a pond scum shade! I went with the monosyllabic one's vote and bound it in purple today! It looks more lurid than ever I regret to say....

  11. Thanks, Tabor - on reread, it seems that way to me, too.

and thank you Sky - it was a lovely day from moon set/sun rose to the setting sun.

Marion - glad you enjoyed it :)

Thanks TCat - my little camera isn't the best nor am I a photographer but I'm having fun documenting bits of my life.

    Never, Barbara!

    Thanks, HHB!

Thanks Dick - there are many ways to compose a poem, yes?

Molly - it was the least cold day in a sequence of cold days and I enjoyed every second of it.

Meggie - I could have used some of that heat last week!

  13. Pauline, those are a lovely grouping of pictures, and I greatly enjoyed the words that went with them. Together they convey a sense of peace, and really would be perfect before bed.

Sort of an adult "Goodnight Moon". Very nicely done.
