Greeting the day...
To be out of doors when the sun rises is to both give and receive a blessing. The light spills over the horizon, illuminating and warming. The heart swells with appreciation and gratitude.
Lovely mix of words and photos. And it made me miss something I never thought I would: the early morning commute to school. Not a prettier thing in the world than the morning sky.
ReplyDeleteA lovely way to greet the day!
ReplyDeleteIt is, Lee, it is.
ReplyDeleteRuth - I live across the road from this pond and pass it when I drive to school in the morning. The beauty of it never fails to make me smile in delight.
Now, if I'm quiet, can I join you on your walk? Can I bring Dog?
ReplyDeleteCome along, HHB and bring Dog. We'll watch the sun rise and he can set the bunnies running!
ReplyDeleteA lovely beginning to your day!
ReplyDeleteThe beautifully colored trees are weeks ahead of our trees here in Virginia. I would really love to accompany you on one of your walks!
ReplyDeleteNot all mornings are as leisurely, Meggie, but they are almost always as beautiful.
ReplyDeleteBarbara - come along! We'd have lots to see and talk about.
