What a nice post, the words and the pictures are perfect together.
I like the last best simply because I've always loved the reflected image of land in water. When I was little, I used to think that there was an underwater world, much like there must have been a world within the mirror.
Thanks for making me remember that, and wonder anew about the possibilities of underwater worlds :-)
such a beautiful marriage of words and pictures.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing you in that first picture. The last one looks too beautiful to be real!
ReplyDeleteI can practically hear the crackle of dry leaves and feel the nip in the air!
ReplyDeleteAnnie - thanks for coming by. This was such a lovely afternoon, sunshine and the wind breathless.
ReplyDeleteBarbara - it is the pond across the road from where I live and a beautiful place indeed.
Molly - it was a perfect late fall day, barely cool around the edges and the sun like a benediction.
What long legs you have my dear.
ReplyDeleterise - these legs were made for walking ;)
ReplyDeleteI come to your blog to find my breath and to feel peace. You haven't let me down with these photos. It feels so still.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful.
ReplyDeleteMarion - what a lovely thing to say. Thanks :)
ReplyDeleteAnd thank you, too Meggie.
