One June Day

Dawn always reminds me that nothing is as it seems. It would appear that the sun rises over a flat horizon when, in reality, I am held fast to the surface of a rotating ball that rolls around toward the light.

What better way to start the day than with a bowl of fresh berries?

June roses scent the air...
...and daisies nod from the roadside.
A muskrat swims lazily home toward sunset.
The day ends in dawn colors.

Gorgeous and peaceful!

To answer your question, we don't have marauding bears in residence, although they do pass through now and again.

Beautiful. I'm struck by the big blue revolving ball we live on, and those tiny blue berries we eat.

Brian M - all my days have some beauty in them :)

J - it was! I am looking forward to a summer full of just such days!

Steven - the pond is such a lovely place. It's hard to take a bad picture of it...

June - as long as the bird feeders are gone, the bears pass by my neighborhood. The fox has been in the hen house though...

OOTP - indeed it was :)

Ruth - we spin and we spin and hardly notice it
